There are free HTML editors available online. It’s pretty easy to find them; just do a search and see what comes up. Your hosting package might also come with website templates, depending on which hosting company you use. If for some reason you don’t want an HTML editor or can’t find one you like, all you really need to write HTML code is a text editor such as Notepad. However, this option will not allow you to see what your pages look like before uploading them to your server.

For someone who is new to website design, setting up a blog is probably the easiest way to get started. Using a template or WYSIWYG editor is not difficult, but will take more time to learn than most blogging platforms. Of course, the easiest way of all is to hire an actual website designer to make your website. That’s probably the best option of all unless you just can’t afford to do it. When you hire a professional, you’ll end up with a site that looks, well, professional.
